Dr. Shenglai Yin (PI)殷盛来 博士（首席研究员）

His research integrates disease ecology, movement ecology, and global change biology to understand and predict wildlife pathogen transmission dynamics. He develops quantitative approaches, including agent-based, epidemiological, network, statistical, and machine-learning models, to examine how animal movement, landscape and climate changes, and host communities shape disease risk. His current work focuses on migratory waterbirds, avian influenza, and One Health challenges at wildlife–poultry–human interfaces. Through ecological data and various modeling approaches, he aims to improve prediction of disease spread, spillover, and emergence while supporting wildlife conservation and animal health.殷盛来博士的研究深度融合了疾病生态学、野生动物迁移生态学与全球变化生物学，致力于解析和预测病原体的传播。他运用一系列研究手段，包括基于个体模型（agent-based models）、流行病学模型、网络模型、统计学以及机器学习模型等，旨在探究动物迁移、景观与气候变化以及宿主群落组成如何共同影响野生动物疾病风险。目前，他的研究重点聚焦于迁徙水鸟、禽流感，以及野生动物-家禽-人类交界面上的“同一健康”（One Health）挑战。通过结合生态学数据与多样化的模型方法，他旨在提升对疾病传播、跨物种溢出（Spillover）及新发传染病（Emergence）的预测能力，同时为野生动物保育与动物健康提供科学支撑。
